Best wishes to at the Oscars.

has received four nominations, including Best Original Song.

Bryce composed the film’s original score, and the song “Train Dreams,” created with Nick Cave, is nominated for an Academy Award.

We were truly honoured to present the Irish Premiere at SFSH25. It’s a remarkable and deeply moving film.

SFSH25 - This year's festival and residency was something otherworldly.

After the festival, we asked you, the audience to let us know how the festival made you feel. These are some of the words you shared:

ECHO IN THE FUTURE

A film by Derrick Belcham featuring Efterklang with Peter Broderick, Tatu Rönkkö and many more. Words written and performed by Casper Clausen and Max Porter. Filmed in Cork at SFSH25.

"Sounds From A Safe Harbour is a place of indeterminacy... joyful collisions of word and sound accumulate over days of new beginnings, careful retreadings and random causality... after the time that I spent with Efterklang and everyone that they encountered this September, I wanted to pay tribute to those intersections with something non-linear, poetic and truthful to the feeling of being in the temporary but fertile soil of the residency and festival... this is a very small collection of those moments, only a very few that I captured with my camera, but I'm very glad to have made the journey and to have been allowed into such a beautiful, ephemeral place."

We are deeply saddened at the passing of our dear friend and are at a loss for words. He will be deeply missed but we will find comfort in his teachings which will continue to guide and inspire us for many years to come.

Our thoughts are with Aisling, his family, and his close friends at this time.
