🌿 Keeping Wicklow Pure, Clean and Pristine

We’re delighted to be partnering with Pure – Protecting Uplands and Rural Environments once again for EcoTrail Wicklow 2026.

Ahead of race day, Wicklow Wolf and EcoTrail Wicklow will lead a litter pick on the course, helping to ensure our beautiful trails and landscapes are clean and pristine for every runner.

Celebrating 20 years of protecting our uplands and rural environments, Pure tackles illegal dumping and works with communities across Wicklow. Its Pure Mile initiative has grown from just five miles in 2009 to more than 1,500 miles today—an incredible achievement.

Our marshals will continue litter-picking throughout race day, and we ask every participant and spectator to help us protect the places we are privileged to enjoy. Please remember that littering by a participant will result in automatic disqualification.

Let’s leave nothing behind 💚
