West Cork Chamber Music Fringe Festival West Cork Fringe is open-access arts festival which will run in parallel to West Cork Chamber Music Festival from Friday 26th June to Sunday 5th July 2020.

There will be concerts, workshops and daily pop-ups around Bantry town - all for free!! The West Cork Chamber Music Festival provides its Fringe Festival to bring this world class music out into the community for non-festival goers to experience and enjoy. And the Fringe is completely Free. The Fringe Festival includes performances and workshops, plus a series of pop-ups through-out the week. The

performances will take place in a wide variety of locations such as Whiddy Island, Garnish Island, Durrus village and Bantry town enabling the local community to engage more fully with the West Cork Chamber Music Festival, as well as adding to the festival atmosphere. Ireland’s best young musicians will perform in a series of daily Pop-Ups, randomly popping up and performing in local coffee shops, restaurants, shops and streets, exposing the music to all in the community. All ages are welcome to the Festival Fringe! Lets have a ball....

Our Story

Welcome to the West Cork Chamber Music Fringe Festival, bringing free world class music out into the community for non-festival goers to experience and enjoy. The Fringe Festival will have 8 performances, 2 workshops plus a series of pop-ups through-out the week - all for FREE!! The 8 performances will take place in a wide variety of locations such as Garnish Island, Durrus village, Glebe Gardens, Baltimore and Bantry town enabling the local community to engage more fully with the Festival as well as adding to the festival atmosphere. Ireland’s best young musicians will perform in a series of daily Pop-Ups, randomly popping up and performing in local coffee shops, restaurants, shops and streets, exposing the music to all in the community.
