BOOK LAUNCH.

Anthony Begley, a local historian , will be launching his new book of local history in St. Anne’s Church, Ballyshannon on Friday 27th March. From 7.30 p.m.

TWO BALLYSHANNON PIONEERS IN AMERICAN HISTORY; the story of a brother and sister who lived in West Port in Ballyshannon and who emigrated to America after the Great Famine.

The book records their early years in the town, their father’s roots in Alla townland near Rossnowlagh, and their amazing lives in America.
