Ballydehob Traditional Music Festival Ballydehob Tradfest will run from March 18-21 2027 Welcome to the homepage of Ballydehob Irish Traditional Music Festival.

The 15th annual Ballydehob Traditional Music Festival will be held in the village of Ballydehob, Co. Cork from Friday, April 8th - Sunday, April 10th 2022. A feast of traditional Irish music and dance is promised, featuring world famous groups Four Men and a Dog, The Máirtín O'Connor Trio and a programme of wide-ranging events including session trails, music, song and dance

Congratulations to the students from Scoil Bhríde N.S, Ballydehob, Goleen NS, Dromore NS, St Matthias NS and Kilcoe National School who entered our Ballydehob Trad Festival art competition and received their medals last Sunday in the The Aisling Art Gallery Ballydehob at Rosies Bar Ballydehob.

Best Overall Winners Lillia Casey and Emma Keohane from Kilcoe National School along with Oliva Gajowniczek from Dromore NS were selected by the judges for their brilliant portrayals of some lively trad sessions taking place at the TradFest in Ballydehob.

Congratulations to Kilcoe National School who were awarded the Dylan Camier Perpetual Trophy as Best Overall School. Well done to all the children who took part.

Wow, where do we even begin with trying to thank everyone for one of the best editions of Ballydehob Tradfest ever. We had some incredible music, dancing, singing and craic the entire weekend.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all our musicians that traveled from near and far to join us. All of our publicans and business owners that helped us over the weekend and everyone that traveled and supported the festival this year.

For anyone looking to forward plan for 2027 the Ballydehob Tradfest will run from the 18-21 of March.

We can’t wait to see everyone in Ballydehob again 🫶🏻
