Morning all. Once again on behalf of the committee of st patricks day parade, we
would like to take this opportunity to yet again Big Thank You to all who all that sponsored us in anyway with Donations, prizes, trailers, putting up bunting, volunteers, tickets sellers if i have left anyone out i am sorry. That is why i dont metion names as we are sure to leave out someone. It was our first year to give out awards and our winners where Kildalkey Drama group and Ballivor tidy towns well done to you guys. So maybe next year we will have more dressy up floats or walkers to see who will win the awards. Congratulations to our grand Marshall MRS Eileen Davis it was a very proud day for us all to see her walking up the street after all her great years of service to the community and wider areas. 🇮🇪 BIG NEWS 🇮🇪

We are delighted to announce that Our grand marshal this year is ……… EILEEN DAVIS.

Through the doors of her small shop came neighbours, friends, families, and generations of customers, But it was never just a shop — it was a place where people were greeted with a smile, a kind word, and sometimes a bit of advice when it was needed.

Running a small shop takes dedication, long hours, and an incredible work ethic. Day after day, year after year for 47 years she was there — serving people, remembering names, and making everyone feel welcome.

Her shop became a little landmark in the community, not just because of what was sold there like batteries on Christmas morning for Santa toys or the cream for dessert but because of the warmth and care behind the counter.

While the shop doors may be closed, the memories and the impact she made will stay with all of us for a long time.

So we thank her — for the years of hard work, for the kindness she showed so many people, and for being such an important part of Ballivor community.
