It's a new week, time for a new start.

There's still a few spaces remaining for my couch to 5k starting at 6.30pm tonight.

If you've been thinking if taking up running or getting back to running come along tomorrow and sign up for my 6 week course.

€90 for 6 weeks, 2 sessions a week - Monday and Friday.

This day next week (Monday 12th September) I will be holding a registration night for the new Roadstars Couch to 5K group in the Community Room of Tesco Ballincollig at 6.30pm.

So if you've ever wanted to start running and don't know where to start come join us.

If you've wanted to start running but thought you couldn't, come join us, this is suitable for complete beginners.

If you've wanted to start running but thought it was boring, come join us, we'll prove you wrong, you'll have fun and make friends along the way....just ask the members of my previous Couch to 5K groups, who are still going by the way.

I can tell you one thing I definitely didn't look cute at the end of my run yesterday.

It was my first run in I don't know how long, at least a couple of months. I swear I thought I was goosed a couple of times in the first mile but then.....

Then my body remembered....

I can do this, it might have been a while but I actually like this....

The last 3 were, well not easy either to be honest, but were better. The next run will be even better.

I can't wait to help you guys catch the running bug when the Couch to 5K starts.
