Meet Our 2026 Workshop Tutors 🎶

We are delighted to announce the first of our workshop tutors for Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds 2026.

This year’s programme brings together some of the finest musicians and teachers in traditional Irish music, offering students a unique opportunity to learn from performers who are respected on stages, in classrooms and at sessions across Ireland and beyond.

Joining us this September are:

• Ademar O’Connor – Fiddle
• Steph Geremia – Flute
• Keelan McGrath – Button Accordion
• Ríona Hely – Concertina
• Michael Cusack – Set Dancing

Whether you are looking to develop your technique, learn new tunes, improve your style or simply enjoy playing and dancing with others, these workshops promise something for everyone.

We are looking forward to welcoming musicians, dancers and learners of all ages to Ballinasloe from 3rd to 6th September 2026 for another great weekend of music, learning and tradition.

Hot off the Easel!
We are delighted to present our 2026 Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds artwork by local artist Nicola Bowes. This year our vision was to celebrate Ballinasloe’s Marina and the River Suck and their importance to Ballinasloe.
As part of the Shannon Navigation system, the river Suck has long connected our town to people, place, and tradition.
We wanted our artwork to capture this and the growing tradition of visitors travelling by boat and barge to the Ballinasloe Marina for our Féile weekend. We wanted to reflect the River and Marina as a living link between the Shannon waterways and the heart of Ballinasloe and their role in heritage, culture and waterways tourism.
And most importantly to capture the moment of arrival, music carrying across the water, and visitors, friends, old and new being warmly welcomed.

Nicola brought our vision to life with creativity and care and great patience, producing this beautiful, vibrant, colourful tribute to Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds and Ballinasloe.
