Delighted to welcome back Steph Geremia to FCLR!

Steph is an Irish flute player and singer from Galway, Ireland. Drawing on an eclectic musical background she delivers a unique voice to the Irish instrumental and folk song traditions. Touring internationally since 2007, Steph is highly sought-after teacher who continues to lead masterclasses at many international festivals, Royal Conservatory of Scotland, University of Limerick and has developed both a wooden and silver flute course for the Online Academy of Irish Music.

Her world-class musicianship and inspiring teaching make this a fantastic opportunity for flute players to learn from one of the very best.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds has been awarded €5,000 under the 2026 Small Scale Local Festivals and Summer Schools Funding Scheme.

This funding from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport is a huge boost and will help us continue to bring the very best of traditional Irish music to Ballinasloe this September.

As a volunteer-run festival, support like this is invaluable. Rising costs continue to be a challenge, and funding such as this plays a vital role in helping us deliver a high quality festival.

A sincere thank you to the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport for supporting local festivals and recognising the importance of preserving and celebrating our musical heritage.

We simply couldn’t do it without support like this.
