We’re starting something new as part of Ballina Fringe this year-

A small group of young people (15–18) will come together to create their own part of the festival — ideas, events, whatever they want it to be!

First meet-up is just to chat and see who’s interested:

Join us on Thurday 26th of February at 7pm in Ballina Council office Gallery space, Arran place for Ballina Contemporary Art Fair. Ballina Fringe Festival welcomes visual Art submissions for 'Ballina Contemporary Art Fair 2026' opening Thursday February 26th until Saturday February 28th. Last years event was a fantastic success with great sales and heavy footfall.

Up to 4 submissions can be made in painting, print, drawing, mixed media and photography. Open to all artists 18 and over and all works must be original. 50% of sales will go towards the 2026 Ballina Fringe Festival and 50% to the artist.

Send a High-quality image per submission including
Name of Artist, Artwork title, year, medium, dimensions, and price to [email protected] for consideration. For a full list of terms and conditions, please see our website www.ballinafringefestival.ie.

Closing date: Friday February 13th at 5pm.

It was to be our first, but now it's our last event for 2025. We close out this year's festival with the always awesome Dirty Circus!!

We're live tonight from 9pm at the Cot & Cobble. Doors open at 8pm - and the night club's big, so we have tickets on the door too. €20 cash or card. And a raffle -who doesn't love a raffle?!
