This will be the 5th year of the Ronan Clarke road race in Killala.
The 10km Ronan Clarke road run and the 5km fun run/walk will take place on Sunday 28th July 2019 starting from Killala Community Centre with the registration starting at 10:30 AM and the race starts at 12 o clock. There will be lots prizes and presentations in each race for young and old.
Proceeds from the event, held in memory of a much-loved local community member Ronan Clarke, will go to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice and the Killala GAA Benevolent Fund.
This years special guest is David Brady former Mayo footballer and currently pundit for Newstalk radio will be in attendance to start the race and present the prizes.
RONAN CLARKE ROAD RUN DETAILS:
The registration open in Killala Community Centre from 10.30am. The races starts at 12 o clock.
There is Medals and cash prizes for winners in the
10K: €50 for 1ST, €30 for 2ND and €20 for 3RD,
plus medals, that’s for both female and male.
5K: €30 for 1ST and medal, and medals then for second and third
That's for both female and male.
There are medals for Under 16, Under 14 and under 12 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
both for girls and boys.
Members of Ronan’s local GAA club, Killala GAA will once again battle it out to win the Ronan Clarke Cup by being the first club member home on the 10km road race. Last year’s winner, Enda Clarke (Ronan's brother) will be looking to retain his crown, but faces plenty of and fierce competition for the cup.

€30 for family
€20 for 10k
€10 for 5k
Afterwards, a delicious range of homemade treats and refreshments will be available courtesy of the Killala community.
