That's a wrap folks! What a fantastic festival we had.From the screening of our filmfreeway entries/awards,Q&As with filmmaker Aisha Bolaji,producer Katie Lee Lynch. Special guest chats with the enigmatic Gerry Browne followed by a taster read through of his latest script Early Cabs. Screening of Wilding and a panel discussion of biodiversity in Meath. No-one went hungry either as Camile Thai provided the most delicious treats which lead us to our honoured guest Deirdre O Connor (director) interview .Deirdre flew from Florida to join us with her extended family from Ashbourne and we were so honoured and moved to screen her beautiful feature film 'One Moment' which featured the great actors Danny Aiello last performance.

Join our Special Guest - Ashbourne local Gerry Browne at this years film festival.

A business and stage partner to Brendan O’Carroll for 20 years in which they were hugely succesful with their ‘Mrs Browns Boys’ stage shows/ radio plays/ theatre plays. Gerry also starred in the RTÉ tv show ‘Hot Milk and Pepper’.

He co-produced, alongside director Jim Sheridan,the feature film ‘Agnes Browne’ starring Angelica Huston, and he also starred in the film ‘Angelas Ashes’.

Gerry is delighted to share a live read through of ‘Early Cabs’, a series he is currently producing for radio/tv, at this years Ashbourne Film Festival which will be followed by a Q&A session.
