The Generation section in Berlin International Film Festival, or Berlinale, is a platform to screen and host distinctive films made for children, teenagers and the whole family viewing. In the past two decades, four Indonesian short films made their premieres here, before traveling further to other film festivals in other parts of the world. These four films are fresh, unpretentious and earnest in their storytelling, which do not surprise us that they are timeless. Through this special program called Generation Bears, Europe on Screen 26 could not be more proud in highlighting these films and honouring their stories, which we believe will remain relevant in years to come.

Generation adalah kategori pemutaran di Berlin International Film Festival, atau Berlinale, yang khusus memutar film-film spesial untuk anak-anak, remaja dan keluarga. Dalam dua puluh tahun terakhir, ada empat film pendek Indonesia yang diputar pertama kali di sini, sebelum mereka diputar di beberapa festival film internasional lain di seluruh dunia. Empat film pendek ini segar, bersahaja, dan tulus dalam menyampaikan cerita mereka, sehingga tidak heran jika film-film ini masih relevan. Lewat program spesial Generasi Beruang, Europe on Screen 26 dengan bangga mempersembahkan film-film ini, yang kami percaya masih akan tetap layak ditonton di masa depan.

Johannes, an eccentric therapist in training, forms a controversial dance group with his patients, where they dance their traumas away in unlikely places. The club is led by Rakel, a performance artist. As the club grows, Johannes struggles to keep it together, while inconveniently falling head over heels for Rakel.
