"Widya Segara," in its Jimbaran edition, celebrates Bali's rich cultural heritage through the artistic expressions of participating artists, each deeply connected to the sea in their daily lives. Accompanied by a group exhibition of Balinese artists, it highlights the profound values and wisdom derived from our relationship with the ocean, both cosmologically and socio-culturally. The exhibition conveys a vital message from Bali, reminding Indonesia and the world of the ocean's significance as a national treasure and a source of life that must be cherished and preserved. In Jimbaran, "Widya Segara" invites artists to express their concerns for the marine environment and rekindle public appreciation for the ocean's intrinsic value. In the Indonesian context, understanding the sea is vital for national identity, as it connects diverse cultures across the archipelago. In this digitally connected era, re-engaging with the ocean is essential.
