The World’s Best 10s!

The HKFC 10s started in 1986 as a social rugby tournament to commemorate the the Hong Kong Football Club's centenary. It has since grown into the world's best 10-a-side tournament, attracting top players and teams from around the globe. The Hong Kong 10s offers an opportunity for club and international players from both hemispheres to play against each other and make friendships. There are few opportunities outside of official internationals and tournaments where such 'north-south' games can be played. Hundreds of past, present and future internationals from over 20 national teams have played in the HKFC 10s over the years including Jonah Lomu, Jerome Kaino, Conrad Smith, George Smith, Mils Muliaina, George Gregan, Justin Marshall, Brian Lima, Waisale Serevi, Bob Skinstad, Nick Farr-Jones, Graeme Bachop, Rory and Tony Underwood, Gavin and Scott Hastings, Mark and Glenn Ella, Scott Gibbs, Clive Woodward and many more.

From wearing the Sh**un jersey to helping lead the next generation of All Blacks Sevens.

A huge congratulations to Scott Curry on his appointment as Assistant Coach of the New Zealand Sevens team.

It was an honour to have Scott return to his Sh**un roots and join our coaching team in Hong Kong last year. His leadership, humility and knowledge of the game made a lasting impression on everyone around him.

We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in his coaching journey and wish Scott, Willie Rickards, Liam Messam and the entire All Blacks Sevens programme every success in this exciting new chapter.

From Wan Chai to the Hong Kong 10s, this was more than another tournament. It was rugby, friendship, laughter and another unforgettable chapter in the Sh**un journey.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that no other rugby happened last week!

A belated congratulations from the to our 2 alumni Ava Wereta & Lizzie Gibson who made their international debuts last weekend in the PAC4 comp 🧢

Both have been renamed in the respective squads this weekend - with Canada taking on the USA on Friday April 24, and the Wallaroos taking on the Black Ferns on Saturday April 25.
