香港乒乓網成立於2007年，提供專業比賽及活動策劃，與招商局、中信股份、摩根大通、男拔萃書院、南華早報、西潮人聯會、民政處、香港專業團體康樂會（成員包括大律師、牙醫、會計師、築師學、測量師、醫學會及律師會）……等企業、機構、政府及學校合作，推廣乒乓球運動，成功舉辦多個大型比賽包括：利民慈善乒乓球比賽、全港乒乓球聯賽，及與湖南電視台合辦親子乒乓球比賽，並創立網上交流平台，以球會友。此外我們亦跟不同的商場及體育館合作，其中包括荃灣愉景新城 D•Park、西沙GoPark 、黃埔商場及啟德體育園體藝館。

本屆賽事吸引來自全球24個國家及地區、近1,200名乒乓球運動員及教練團隊來港參賽。規模僅次於「世界元老錦標賽」及「歐洲元老錦標賽」，成為全球第三多人參加的元老級乒乓球賽。今次比賽有多位享譽國際的乒壇名宿及前.....
