A small detail we liked on this project was the ribbon opening.

Instead of adding a separate medal loop above the character, we built the rectangular ribbon opening directly into the teddy bear shape.

That kept the design compact and closer to the customer’s original artwork.

The raised antique copper lines then separated the different soft enamel colors, while the full-color ribbon handled the extra sponsor and event branding.

Good custom medal production is often about these small structural decisions—not just adding color to a piece of metal.

Custom 5K / 10K / 15K Fun Run Medals — 1,200-Piece USA Project

Here is one of our recent custom running medal projects for a Fun Run event in Michigan, USA.

The organizer supplied the original Chocolate Run logo, and our job was to turn that artwork into a medal that could actually be produced in metal without losing the character of the design.

The finished medal measured 101.6 × 97 mm, with 1,195 pieces in bright silver and 5 pieces in bright gold.

We handled the production artwork, mold, plating, enamel coloring, custom printed ribbons, assembly, QC and bulk packing.

The photos show the full process from the original logo all the way to the finished medals.

For race organizers, we believe seeing how an order is made is just as important as seeing the final product.

180 Custom Bodybuilding Medals for a European Championship

Here’s a recent bodybuilding medal project from our factory.

The client supplied the original federation logo, and we developed it into a large 170mm zinc alloy medal with an openwork globe structure and multi-level relief.

We produced the final awards in antique gold, silver and bronze, paired with 38mm custom sublimation ribbons.

The full process included:

Logo review → production artwork → 3D model → steel mold → die casting → polishing → plating → ribbon assembly → QC → shipping.

For oversized medals like this, the openwork sections need to be planned carefully. Thin connections can deform during casting or polishing, so the structure has to work before the mold is made.

Another bodybuilding medal project completed.

The client came to us with a detailed dragon logo. Our job was to turn that flat artwork into a medal that still kept the character, wings, castle and lettering clear in real metal.

The photos show the actual process from artwork and mold development to raw casting, final QC and delivery.

From Logo to Delivery — One Real Custom Medal Project

We always prefer showing the real process instead of only posting finished product photos.

This project started with the Manchester’s Strongest logo.

From there, we prepared the production artwork, built the 3D relief structure, sent it for customer approval, cast and polished the metal, added the final finishes, and assembled the ribbons.

The last image is probably our favorite part — the customer confirming the medals arrived and saying they were “fantastic as always.”

From a colorful tournament logo to 380 finished soccer medals.

This project was made for the Galveston Cup in Galveston, Texas.

The original artwork had a lot of small geometric color sections, so we turned those lines into raised metal borders. After bright gold plating, each recessed section was filled with soft enamel.

The result is a medal that keeps the original logo recognizable, but feels completely different once it's made in metal.
