ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival Greece’s annual leading animation event held every September on Syros island, Cyclades.

Established in 2008, it hosts a number of competition sections, tributes, seminars, workshops, a professional market and a great load of parties!

🌊 Το ANIMASYROS στο Urban Fest 2026!
Στο πλαίσιο του φετινού φεστιβάλ με θέμα «Mediterraneo», ο Πρόεδρος και Συνιδρυτής του ANIMASYROS, Βασίλης Καραμητσάνης, θα παρουσιάσει την πορεία ενός διεθνούς φεστιβάλ που ξεκίνησε από τη Σύρο και εξελίχθηκε σε σημείο αναφοράς για το animation στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

🇫🇷 ANIMASYROS @ Annecy Festival & MIFA 2026

ANIMASYROS will be attending the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and MIFA from June 23–26, continuing its active presence at the world's leading event for the animation industry.

🌊 Mark you calendar for June 24, at 15.00-16.15 @ Verdi Room on the third floor of Imperial Palace Hotel, where ANIMASYROS will present the second edition of the ANIMASYROS Mediterranean Spotlight @ Annecy Festival, showcasing five exciting short film and TV series projects from Greece, Croatia, Lebanon and Tunisia. The projects were developed through the MIFA Campus Pitching Workshop held during the ANIMASYROS Agora Pitching Forum 2025 in Syros.

🎙️ Ο Πρόεδρος του ANIMASYROS, Βασίλης Καραμητσάνης, φιλοξενήθηκε στο Ionian TV και στην εκπομπή «Χαμηλή Πτήση», με αφορμή τη συμμετοχή του φεστιβάλ στο Urban Fest 2026.

Στη συζήτηση αναδείχθηκε ο ρόλος του ANIMASYROS ως ενός διεθνούς φεστιβάλ και forum κινουμένων σχεδίων που πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο στη Σύρο, καθώς και η δυναμική του animation ως μέσου καλλιτεχνικής έκφρασης, εκπαίδευσης και πολιτιστικής διασύνδεσης.

Το Urban Fest 2026, με θέμα «Mediterraneo», επιστρέφει στην Πάτρα από τις 19 έως τις 23 Ιουνίου, εξερευνώντας τις κοινές ιστορίες, τις επιρροές και τις πολιτιστικές διαδρομές που ενώνουν τους λαούς της Μεσογείου.

🎬✨ Από τις αναμνήσεις και τη δημιουργική γραφή… στο animation.
Ολοκληρώθηκε το εργαστήριο animation που υλοποιήθηκε από το ANIMASYROS σε συνεργασία με το Ειδικό Κέντρο Ημέρας για Πάσχοντες από Alzheimer Κοζάνης της Ψυχογηριατρικής Εταιρείας «Ο Νέστωρ», με τη συμμετοχή μελών των Ομάδων Νοητικής Ενδυνάμωσης που συντονίζει η Αγάπη Τερζοπούλου, Ψυχολόγος.

Με οδηγό τον εκπαιδευτή Αγησίλαο Ρόμπολα, οι συμμετέχοντες μετέτρεψαν μια πρωτότυπη ιστορία που γεννήθηκε μέσα από το Πρόγραμμα Δημιουργικής Γραφής σε storyboard, χαρακτήρες, εικόνες και κινούμενα καρέ, ανακαλύπτοντας στην πράξη τη δύναμη του animation ως μέσο έκφρασης, συνεργασίας και δημιουργίας.

Η ταινία που δημιουργήθηκε θα παρουσιαστεί στο πλαίσιο του ANIMASYROS 2026, τον Σεπτέμβριο στη Σύρο. ✨
