Amarandos, Skopelos Incredibly stunning, Amarandos is a striking wedding location on Skopelos island. Several scenes for the “Mamma Mia!” movie were shot here, back in 2007.

A WEDDING AND EVENT VENUE
The term "Amarandos" in Greek language is an adjective and means “something that never withers”, “unfading”. The setting is about 1,5 klm away from Agnontas hamlet. Located on the West side of the island along a dirt track off the main road to Agnontas, the coastline of Amarandos consists of small isolated rocky coves with turquoise waters, which are ideal for both snorke

ling and swimming. This striking place -of incredibly stunning natural beauty- enjoys scenic views across the Aegean Sea to the mountainous island of Evia (Euboea), as well as romantic sunsets; here mature pine trees sweep down to water level, offering privacy under lovely shadows.
