Kanapitsa Run

Kanapitsa Run Kanapitsa Run is an annual running race in Skiathos island since August 14, 2014 Kanapitsa Run is a running competition in Skiathos island.

The course is 4.6 km long and takes place along the scenic cliffs of the Kanapitsa peninsula, taking full advantage of the breathtaking sea views. The course consists of 2.3 km ascent, with a total elevation of 131 m, followed by a descent down the same route. The competitors are divided into five groups: Children, men under 45, men over 45, women under 45 and women over 45. The 1st Kanapitsa run took place on the 14th August 2014. There was a total of 135 participants.

Dear Kanapitsa runners, friends and supporters ,

Once again, thanks to you and sponsors of the Pampouki, Mavriki/Papageorgiou, Modiano and Leon families, Kanapitsa Run managed once again to support needs of our beloved island. This year we donated a MANUAL PATIENT STRETCHER TROLLEY and a VITAL SIGNS MONITOR to Skiathos Health Center and an A/C SPLIT UNIT 18KBTU to Skiathos Vocational High School (EPAL)

Once again thank you all and we hope to see you again next summer at the 10th Kanapitsa Run 2026 which will take place in Skiathos on Tuesday, August 11, 2026!!
