Ta**ra is the combination of two Sanskrit words: TANoti or expansion and TRAyati or liberation, hence Ta**ra is the method to expand the mind and liberate the dormant potential energy.
The aspects of Shakti and Shiva (energy and consciousness) are not abstractions. Shakti represents the supplest manifestation of energy, lined coiled like a serpent at the Muladhara Chakra and is known as Kundalini, whereas Shiva or consciousness, is located at the Sahasrara Chakra, the highest evolutionary centre in man.
Not acquisition of Siddhis (psychic powers), nor black magic, nor licentious living, nor occult s*x. Whether you are a sensualist or a spiritualist, an atheist or theist, whether strong or weak, rich or poor, straight or gay —Ta**ra says— there is a path for you which you have to discover.

During these five days, you will be guided by two master yoga teachers into the ancient ta***ic techniques. You will be given full instructions on practices as well as question and answer sessions in the evening (Satsang) to deepen your understanding and knowledge of traditional yoga.
The day will start with purification of the internal body called Shatkarmas or Kriyas. It will follow a 2-hour practice of Asanas (postures) in a dynamic manner to build up endurance and flexibility for a fit body, and in a static manner to build up physical and mental strength. You will practice and master the techniques of Kumbhaka (retention of the breath), Kriyas and Bandhas (activating energy locks), and Pranayama (breathing exercises), in order to feel and guide the Kundalini Shakti towards the Shiva Consciousness. Additionally in the 2-hour evening class you will be led into the meditation techniques of Yoga Nidra, Nada Yoga, Tattwa Shudhi, Bhairova and Nadabrahma.
Between the two yoga sessions, there is ample time to enjoy the amazing rocky beach of Marathopoli and the wonderful local neighbouring, or surrender to a private Shamanic Healing session.
There will be daily organized excursions visiting the magnificent treasures around the area (such as Voidokoilia beach, Polilimnio waterfalls, Lagoon of Gialova, the archeological site of Nestor's palace, Methoni castle, and the ancient theatre of Messini) .
On Friday 16, on the starting day and the day of the full moon, it will be a welcome opening ceremony dedicated to the Full Moon (Shakti energy). This event will include a full moon meditation, Havan (a fire ritual) and chanting mantras.
The benefits of this five day experience are to strengthen and stretch the body, to discover and feel the Shakti within and to reach a completely relaxed and meditative state of mind in the most amazing places, the south Greece has to offer.

Nireas
Yoga conquered Nireas after a journey of self-awareness in India.
Born in Greece, he left the country at his 17 to study IT in Germany. Very soon (he was 21) he discovered his love and ability to teach; from modern latin dances to Greek as a foreign language and computer applications, Nireas was travelling, learning and sharing knowledge.
It was only in 2011 when he quit his job in Cyprus as a 3D-product Designer and –following a friend’s advise– he discovered India and the ancient science of Yoga. From that moment he became conscious of what he wanted to do; nothing but practising, learning and spreading the knowledge of yoga.
After having collected self-experience(*) by attending yoga, and meditation courses and TTC’s (Yoga Teacher Training Courses), Integral Yoga captivated his interest and attention because of the way it combines self-development with spiritual upliftment.
Nireas is a highly sought after instructor and has taught numerous courses, workshops ans TTC's in India, Greece, France, UK. He speaks fluent English, French, German, Spanish and Greek.
