The Photometria ΦΩΤΟBOOK 2026 results are here 📕

The jury selected 25 photobooks that will be presented at the Photometria Photography Center - PPC in Ioannina, from 26 September to 30 November 2026, as part of the 18th Photometria International Photography Festival.

The exhibition also travels to ZOETROPE in Athens, on a date to be announced soon.

Η κριτική επιτροπή επέλεξε 25 φωτογραφικά βιβλία που θα παρουσιαστούν στο Photometria Photography Center - PPC, στα Ιωάννινα, από 26 Σεπτεμβρίου έως 30 Νοεμβρίου 2026, στο πλαίσιο του 18ου Photometria International Photography Festival.

Η έκθεση ταξιδεύει και στο ZOETROPE, σε ημερομηνία που θα ανακοινωθεί σύντομα.

📣 Το Photometria International Photography Festival πραγματοποιεί ανοιχτό κάλεσμα προς φωτογράφους από όλο τον κόσμο για να καταθέσουν την οπτική τους γύρω από το θέμα «Coming of Age».

Φέτος, με αφορμή τη 18η διοργάνωσή του, το φεστιβάλ διερευνά τη μετάβαση στην ενηλικίωση. Τι σημαίνει να μεγαλώνουμε. Τι αφήνουμε πίσω. Τι επιλέγουμε να κρατήσουμε.

Κριτής του διαγωνισμού είναι ο Alec Soth, μέλος του Magnum Photos και ένας από τους πιο σημαντικούς σύγχρονους φωτογράφους.

📣 Photometria International Photography Festival announces an open call for photographers from around the world to submit their perspective on “Coming of Age”.

As the festival reaches its 18th edition, it explores what it means to come of age. What we leave behind, and what we choose to carry forward.

This year's juror is Alec Soth, member of Magnum Photos and one of the most influential photographers of our time.

Η κριτική επιτροπή του Youth Collective 2026 απαρτίζεται από καταξιωμένους επαγγελματίες του φωτογραφικού χώρου.

♦️ Η Szilvia Mucsy είναι φωτογράφος, επιμελήτρια και ιδρύτρια του Budapest Photo Festival. Έχει εκθέσει σε Νέα Υόρκη, Αθήνα, Άμστερνταμ και Αρλ, έχει επιλεγεί στο Futures Talent και έχει βραβευτεί σε φεστιβάλ σε όλη την Ευρώπη.

♦️ Η Hara Sklika είναι φωτογράφος, ερευνήτρια και υποψήφια διδάκτωρ του ΠαΔΑ. Διδάσκει στο Τμήμα Φωτογραφίας ως ακαδημαϊκή υπότροφος και είναι υπεύθυνη επικοινωνίας του Photometria.

♦️ Ο Stefanos Kesidis είναι φωτογράφος, εκπαιδευτικός και Καλλιτεχνικός Διευθυντής του Visual Arts International Festival. Εστιάζει στο τοπίο και την τεκμηρίωση. Διδάσκει κι ξέρει να κοιτάζει δουλειά που ακόμα βρίσκει τη φωνή της.

Προσκαλούμε νέους δημιουργούς 18-25 ετών, ανεξαρτήτως ακαδημαϊκού υπόβαθρου, να υποβάλουν έως 5 φωτογραφίες χωρίς συγκεκριμένο θέμα. Τα επιλεγμένα έργα θα εκτεθούν στο 18ο Photometria στα Ιωάννινα.

🚨 Αιτήσεις έως 31 Μαρτίου.

The jury of Youth Collective 2026 brings together established professionals in photography and visual arts.

♦️Szilvia Mucsy is a photographer, curator, and founder of Budapest Photo Festival. She has exhibited in New York, Athens, Amsterdam, and Arles, been selected for Futures Talent, and received awards at festivals across Europe.

♦️Hara Sklika is a photographer, researcher, and PhD candidate at the University of West Attica. She teaches in the Photography Department as an academic fellow and is Communications Manager at Photometria.

♦️Stefanos Kesidis is a photographer, educator, and Artistic Director of the Visual Arts International Festival. His practice focuses on landscape and documentation. He also teaches, which means he knows how to look at work that is still finding its voice.

We invite young creators aged 18 to 25, regardless of academic background, to submit up to 5 photographs with no set theme. Selected works will be exhibited at the 18th Photometria in Ioannina.

The group exhibition "Non Stop Pop" of the Photometria Awards 2025, juried by Magnum photographer Alec Soth, is being presented at Té arts in Kavala, alongside Photobooks 2025.

25 selected photographs exploring pop culture as a mirror of contemporary society, and how images and symbols shape our identities, our expectations, our behavior.
