🎶 Passing Ships – οι άνθρωποι που συναντάμε, σαν περαστικά καράβια, φέρνουν μαζί τους μουσικές, πολιτισμούς, μυρωδιές, εικόνες. Μέσα από αυτές τις συναντήσεις, ταξιδεύουμε σε μέρη μακρινά ή χαμένα, σαν να τα γνωρίζουμε μέσα από εκείνους. Ενα νέο project που ενώνει δύο συναρπαστικους νέους μουσικούς της ελληνικής μουσικής σκηνής με διεθνή παρουσία: τη σοπράνο Αφροδίτη Πατουλίδου και τον κιθαρίστα Δημήτρη Σούκαρα.
🎤 Γνωρίστε την Aphrodite Patoulidou
Έχοντας χαρακτηριστεί «μαγευτική» (The Guardian), η Θεσσαλονικιά υψίφωνος Αφροδίτη Πατουλίδου διαγράφει μια διεθνή πορεία με βάση το Βερολίνο. Από το ντεμπούτο της στο Equilibrium της Barbara Hannigan μέχρι συνεργασίες με κορυφαίες ορχήστρες όπως η Concertgebouw, η Cleveland και η Φιλαρμονική του Μονάχου, η Utopia, έχει μαγέψει το κοινό σε όλο τον κόσμο. Η Αφροδίτη έχει συνεργαστεί με μαέστρους όπως οι Kirill Petrenko, Barbara Hannigan, Antonello Manacorda, Christian Reif, Dalia Stasevska, Leo McFall, Christopher Moulds.
🎸 Ο Κορίνθιος Δημήτρης Σούκαρας έχει χαρακτηριστεί ως «καινοτόμος» (CNN) και «μουσικός της νέας γενιάς» (Καθημερινή), εχει βάση το Λονδίνο, είναι βραβευμένος με περισσότερα από 20 βραβεία σε διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς και είναι ιδρυτής της σειράς συναυλιών MUΣA – γνωστός για τη δεξιοτεχνία του, τη μίξη μουσικών ειδών, καθώς και για τη στήριξή του στη σύγχρονη δημιουργία. Εχει συνεργαστεί με ορχήστρες Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών, Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, Filarmonica Orchestra Campana, Orchestra de stat Oradea, Academica Athens Orchestra, Ορχήστρα σύγχρονης μουσικής ΕΡΤ, ορχήστρα Δήμου Πατρέων και έχει εμφανιστεί σε συναυλιακούς χώρους όπως το Musikverein, St Martin in the fields, St.John Smith Squere, Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών.

🎶 Passing Ships – the people we meet, like passing ships, carry with them music, cultures, scents, and images. Through these encounters, we travel to distant or forgotten places, as if we’ve known them through those we meet.
A bold new project uniting two exciting young musicians from the Greek music scene with a strong international presence: soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou and guitarist Dimitris Soukaras.
🎤 Meet Aphrodite Patoulidou
Described as “enchanting” (The Guardian), soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou from Thessaloniki is forging an impressive international career from her base in Berlin. From her debut in Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium project to performances with world-class orchestras including the Concertgebouw, Cleveland Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, and Utopia, she has captivated audiences across the globe.
She has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Barbara Hannigan, Antonello Manacorda, Christian Reif, Dalia Stasevska, Leo McFall, and Christopher Moulds.
🎸 Dimitris Soukaras has been characterised as “the innovative” (CNN) “musician of the new generation” (Kathimerini) – hails from Corinth and is based in London. He is a multi-award-winning guitarist with over 20 prizes in international competitions and the founder of the MUΣA concert series. Known for his virtuosity, genre-blending creativity, and strong commitment to contemporary music, he has performed with orchestras such as:
Athens State Orchestra, Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, Filarmonica Orchestra Campana, Orchestra de stat Oradea, Academica Athens Orchestra, ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra, and Patras Municipal Orchestra.
He has appeared in prestigious venues such as Musikverein, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St John’s Smith Square, and the Athens Megaron Concert Hall.
