Cacao Ceremony and Ecstatic Dance at Villa Melodia

No steps to learn. No choreography to follow. Just you, the music, and the freedom to move exactly as you feel.
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice where your body leads and your mind finally rests. You release what you've been carrying - stress, tension, emotions held too tight - and arrive back to yourself.
What to expect:
This month we will open the space with Ceremonial Cacao to uplift the Spirit!
The session takes place outdoors in the beautiful garden of Villa Melodia.
The session opens with a guided meditation to settle the body and mind. From there, the music takes you on a journey - dynamic, layered, intentional. You move barefoot, freely, at your own pace. No performance. No judgment.
We close with a sharing and grounding circle.
A full 3 hours to come home to yourself.
About the Ceremonial Cacao:
This Ceremonial Cacao originates from the indigenous communities of Costa Rica.
It is a heart-opening plant medicine that deepens connections with oneself and others.
Crafted from pure cacao beans, it is made with respect and in the traditional manner honoring its indigenous origins.
As a gentle stimulant for ecstatic dance, ceremonial cacao boosts circulation and endorphin release, promoting warmth, joy, and emotional openness. This enhances free movement and allows dancers to enter a natural trance or flow state.
The Cacao Ceremony fosters connection and gratitude, turning dance into an embodied meditation where the heart leads and the body follows.

At Villa Melodia Events, Ecstatic Dance and Ceremonies are offered as a safe and supportive outdoor space where you can explore movement, enhance self-awareness and authentically express yourself.
Your guide: ManuDiosa
ManuDiosa is a holistic therapist and somatic facilitator who designs each session as a living, breathing musical journey. Through consciously chosen music and a deep understanding of the body-emotion connection, she holds a space that is both safe and genuinely transformative - where layers of the subconscious can gently surface and be explored.

Bring:
water bottle, spare t-shirt, socks. Wear comfortable, loose clothing. On cooler days, a blanket is welcome.

This is a conscious, substance-free space - open to everyone who arrives with a clear mind and an open heart.
This ensures a safe, grounded, and respectful space for everyone.
We kindly ask all participants to honor the collective energetic space. Anyone who does not respect the guidelines or disrupts the safety and integrity of the group will be asked to leave the house.
