Mike Rice & Eilis Murphy (Μάικ Ράις & Αϊλίς Μέρφι) - Μουσικές από τις όχθες του ποταμού Feale (Part 2)
Οι δύο φλαουτίστες έρχονται από την ανεξερεύνητη τουριστικά περιοχή ανάμεσα στο βόρειο Kerry και το δυτικό Limerick.
Η περιοχή γύρω από τον ποταμό Feale (Φιλ) περηφανεύεται για τους τοπικούς συνθέτες που έχει αναδείξει και για μία έντονα ζωηρή και λυρική μουσική παράδοση, τόσο για ακρόαση όσο και για χορό.
Ο Mike και η Eilis μεγάλωσαν σε κοντινά χωριά, είναι μέλη της Cnoc an Óir Ceili Band και συνεργάζονται επί σκηνής εδώ και δεκαετίες. Θα μοιραστούν μαζί μας αυθεντικές μελωδίες του τόπου τους, με την απλότητα και την αμεσότητα που θα είχαν παίζοντας σε μία τοπική παμπ, μια κρύα βραδιά του χειμώνα🍀🎶
Το φεστιβάλ διοργανώνεται από εθελοντές του πολιτιστικού συλλόγου Inis , με την υποστήριξη του Culture Ireland , της Πρεσβείας της Ιρλανδίας Embassy of Ireland, Greece , της Guinness και του Greek-Irish Society 🙏

🎶 Mike Rice & Eilis Murphy - Music from the banks of the River Feale (Part 2)
The two flautists come from the unexplored region between northern Kerry and western Limerick. The area around the River Feale prides itself on the local composers it has produced and on a vibrant and lyrical musical tradition, meant for both listening and dancing.
Mike and Eilis grew up in nearby villages, are members of the Cnoc an Óir Céilí Band, and have been collaborating on stage for decades. They will share with us authentic melodies from their homeland, with the same simplicity and intimacy as if they were playing in a local pub on a cold winter's night.
