Film Olympiad proudly presents the 15th Grand Prix National Medal Tables 🏅🎬🌍

We celebrate the collective achievements of each national filmmaking industry — beyond race, religion or geopolitics. Cinema unites.

Through this initiative, we aim to:

a) Encourage filmmakers from all countries to participate and represent their nation at Film Olympiad 🌎🎥
b) Create a framework that motivates national institutions to further support their country’s filmmakers 🤝🎞️

You can submit now your work for the 16th Film Olympiad Grand Prix that will take place in the summer!

🇵🇷 Puerto Rico 🇪🇹 Ethiopia 🇲🇹 Malta 🇦🇼 Aruba & 🇳🇬 Nigeria have earned for the first time a Film Olympiad Grand Prix medal.

The top three spots of the table are 🇧🇪 Belgium, 🇪🇸 Spain & 🇳🇱 the Netherlands.

🇬🇷 Greece, 🇺🇸 USA, 🇪🇸 Spain and 🇫🇷 France had the most participations.

Film Olympiad pays tribute to the legendary Greek singer Marinella, who has sadly passed away. 🕊️

Her remarkable career also included appearances in 18 feature films during the Golden Era of Greek cinema in the 1960s 🎬 — leaving a lasting mark not only on music, but on film history as well.

Her voice will remain timeless. 🎶

So much emotion. "10 Cents" 🇬🇷 won the People's Choice Gold 🥇.

Bronze medalist Director & Writer Kostas Gakis and bronze medalist Leading Actress Natasa Fay Kosmidou, represented the film that was passionately cheered by the audience.

At the Q & A with Film Olympiad's Founder, Ioannis Makro, the creators spoke about the emotional value of the film, which also won the Best Film Gold 🥇.

Lia Tsalta and Magma win the Best Greek Film 🥉in the Film Olympiad 🇬🇷🌹, along with awards in Best Cinematography, Production Design and Best Fantasy Film.

Lia presented her vision about a unique world she created with her film, that deals ultimately with loneliness, a common motif in several of the presented films.

An incredible winner 🏆 , is the 4th Oscar nominated director that receives the Best Film Gold Medal in an Olympiad Grand Prix.

Hearts of Stone received a total of 8 Gold medals, becoming one of the most successful films, thanks also to its great acting performances by & , and its technical excellence.

It is undoubtedly the most successful Belgian film, in the Film Olympiad history.

Tom Van Avermaet's words in the Q & A, also moved the Film Olympiad audience. The awards ceremony was performed by the festival's Founder, and the Deputy Mayor of Korydallos

In a triumphant performance, the 🥇 Best Film Gold Medalist was 🇧🇪 "Hearts of Stone".
