ON BEHALF OF CHAIRMAN AND EXECUTIVE OF GBYSC, WE WANT TO SINCERELY SAY A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO THE YOUNG SCORPIONS FC FOR BEEN CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT FOR THE 2018-19 SEASON.
IT WAS A MOUTH WATERING CLASH AND BATTLE OF TITANS AND INDEED DESERVEDLY WON...
HARD LUCK TO CHAMPION BREAKERS FC WHO FOUGHT WELL TOO.
TO THE REST OF THE TEAMS THAT PARTICIPATED, WE SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SPORTSMANSHIP AND TOLERANCE. TO OUR SUPPORTERS, DONORS AND SPONSORS, WE SAY MERCI AND HOPE FOR MORE FROM YOU.

THE COMMITTEE IS COMMITTED TO FOCUS ON SOME RENOVATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE PITCH FOR NOW AND CALLING ON ALL SUNDRY FOR SUPPORT TO ENABLE US CHANGE THE GROUND OF PLAY. OUR TARGET IS BY THE YEAR 2020, YOU WILL SEE A DIFFERENCE IN THE GREATER BWIAM MINI STADIUM.

*Goaless* *post penalties couldn't decide the win either*

The game was described as unbelievable by many as the veterans stood firm to deny the young lads a victory in the knockout league.
The game saw them play Goaless in regular time, but post penalty could not decide the game either and the referee had to declare the game adjourned until next week Friday.
Waw, it's the first time a game of such nature really is adjourned in the competition.

How will that game end? It's an opportunity for both teams to better prepare and for for a win. Wonderful game there

*Weekend knockout fixtures postponed*
The greater bwiam sports committee under the leadership of badara sanneh informs all its affiliated teams and the general public that the weekend fixtures from fri 23rd November to Sunday 25th November are all been adjourned until further noticed.
This decision came after a sad occurrence as we lost our dear father and uncle BABAI CAMARA today and other engagements in the weekend which requires the district participation.
All team coaches and team Captains are urged to keep up the training and pray for the deceased.
The GBYSC also wishes to extend its condolence to the family of the deceased.

*FINAL REMINDER*

The greater bwiam youth and sports committee will embark on clearing exercise at the bwiam mini stadium this weekend..

*Saturday/17th November*
Fatima senior secondary school and it's sister schools have pledged to help on the clearing.

*Sunday/18th November*
All affiliated teams to the committee will be coming for this day, to be joined by representatives of the *Foni Agency for Rural Development* (FARD)
Meanwhile, the general public is hereby reminded that the exercise is geared towards the continuity of the football league as well as preparations for the forthcoming *MEGA FONI INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL* Slated for December, as this will be the ground for the event.
Urging all to come in your large numbers on Sunday at 8am prompt at the greater bwiam mini stadium and give a helping hand.
