Gambian athletes face an issue, notably their educational focus. Many seem to prioritize sports over education, a concept I find problematic.

I fail to comprehend why some Gambian athletes forsake school entirely to focus solely on training and sports. It's important to remember that sports careers have a finite duration, while education can provide lifelong opportunities.

It's regrettable when athletes don't graduate or lack basic language and literacy skills. Therefore, I propose that Gambian school principals implement a policy for student athletes, requiring a minimum of 4 credits and a maximum of 6, 7, 8, or 9 in various subjects. Schools' sports departments should monitor athletes' school attendance, punctuality, participation in training, exam performance, and overall school engagement.

In conclusion, it's crucial for Gambian athletes to balance their sports careers with education.

The question? Is she under pressure? Or not focusing? Or lacking proper coach? Or what??
