A happy and prosperous Diwali to all celebrating. 🎆🎆🎆
Known as the festival of lights, Diwali is celebrated all over the world across various religions and cultures, especially in South Asia.

Diwali is observed differently by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists, creating a rich tapestry of cultural traditions and customs.

The festival usually lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November).

Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance"

"Sun and Moon pagodas ☀️🌙 - 日月塔
The twin pagodas at Shan lake.

▪️The pagoda on the right represents the SUN.It has 9 floors and it’s made on bronze.

▪️The pagoda on the left represents the MOON. It has 7 floors and it’s made with glazed tiles.

During daytime, they are certainly beautiful. But when the night comes, they dress to kill 🎉
The sun wears GOLD…. The moon wears SILVER.
Shining bright, each one boasting their own beauty… but always together, linked by an underwater glass tunnel."

"The Ashanti Royal Sword bearer from Ghana wears an eagle-feathered headdress featuring golden ram horns at The The 75th Anniversary of Nana Ofori Atta.
His role is to protect the King at all ceremonies, warding off evil and absorbing any physical threats to his master. His ritual regalia is believed to protect not only souls of the Royal court, but the entire Ashanti Nation."
