The Senior national team the Black Stars of Ghana secured back to back victory in their world Cup qualifier against Mali 🇲🇱 1:0 at the Accra Sports Stadium and against Central African Republic🇨🇫 at the Meknès stadium in Morocco 5:0.

Benjamin Asare has been best local player exhibiting great examples for others to emulate at the highest level being the commanding force in the goal post, prio to joining the black Stars they played 4 matches and conceded 5 goals, Benjamin Asare since joining the Black Stars He has played 6 matches as the number one goalkeeper for the national team 5 clean sheets in 6 matches the only goal he conceded was against Chad 🇹🇩.

Ghana 🇬🇭 Black Stars will plays it's final game against Comoros 🇰🇲 at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday 12th October 2025.

Nigeria's Badminton team The Warriors humbled Benin in a stunning comeback win.

Nigeria's Badminton team came from a huge points down against Benin in the on-going Africa Air Badminton🏸 Championship at the to win against their neighbors Benin in a close game.

Benin took charge of the game in the Men's doubles both in the first and second with Benin leading 58-48 Nigeria closed the garb in the final set 58-58 then the game came close to another tie break 59-59 before Nigeria won it the final set against Benin with just a single point 60-59 that brought so much excitement to the Nigerians after the game.

Ghana'🇬🇭 dominated Egypt in the On-going African Air Badminton 🏸 championship. :

Ghana's Leslie Nii Adote Addo and Abdul -Samad Ahmad won against the Egyptians in a thrilling encounter through out the game.

The Egyptians 🇪🇬 where a force to recon with against the Ghana's 🇬🇭 power-house Leslie and Samad, the Egyptians where in control of the game with so much energy before Ghana🇬🇭 took over the tempo of the game and winning it with just two points.

Ghana was the fifth country that played and won their game 60-58 against the Egyptians.

FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIER – GHANA vs CHAD

The National Team of Ghana, the Black Star faces a crucial world cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports stadium scheduled for Friday 21st 2026.

After missing out on the Afcon, the black Stars would seek to redeem their image by securing a 5th time appearance come 2026 to be staged in Mexico, Canada and United States of America. The stars currently share nine points with Group Leader Comoros despite failing to beat the leaders in their earlier encounter. However, wins against Mali, Central Africa Republic and Madagascar should provide an impetus to secure another 3points against Chad who at positioned bottom in Group I.

The Stars have appointed Coach Winfried Schäfer a veteran German coach as a technical adviser to the struggling coach Otto Addo. With his experience, having led Cameroon to Africa title in 2002, the team is expected to win convincingly.

Felix Lartey Foundation donates table tennis items to Tennis Players.

Former national champion in ping pong Mr. Felix Lartey has donated some items to young and hungry table tennis players in Accra last Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Felix Lartey Foundation has been donating to needy players and also helping put youngsters in school to achieve their aim in the game of Ping Pong and have a better future .

This donations has been in existence since 2019 and have helped many players to play table tennis more with the equipment being given to them. This year's donation also had a prospect in Juanita Borteye receiving items in table tennis from the Foundation which will go a long way to help boost her in Ping Pong tournaments.

This Foundation have seen lots of stars emerging from their donations and some of them are; Israel Akli ,Blessing ,Juanita and a couple of others and they are doing great with the national team and winning medals as well.

Felix Lartey from a humble beginning have grown into helping the youngsters and giving back to society what it provided for him some time ago when he was younger. Felix's colleagues in the national team have given their admiration to what he has been doing for the society and the young kids out there who's passion for the sports goes beyond playing table tennis. Aside all the items that Felix Lartey donated, he also gave a special trainers to Juanita Borteye.

Felix Lartey happens to have won so many laurels in Table Tennis both on the local and international terrain and still remains one of the best ever Ghana has produced.

Most of the Athletes who received the donation are also appealing to Corporate Organizations and the Government to come to their aid and support the good initiatives that Mr. Felix Lartey is doing in order to bring the best talents we have into the National Team.

Many youngsters train at the Accra Sports Stadium but they don't have equipment to train with and it makes their call ups into the National Team futile. Without a good equipment the national team can't get likes Felix Lartey and his achievements.
