Now in its eleventh successive year, Tiger Blues continues to play a hugely important role in Ystradgynlais RFC’s player pathway and development conveyor belt. New players are always welcome 💙

Tiger Blues is a fun, exciting, and inclusive rugby development programme based around non-contact rugby for boys and girls aged 3 to 4, with Reception aged children who have turned 5 years old, also very welcome to attend.

Sessions take place every Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 5:45pm at Ysgol Bro Tawe (SA9 1BU). When the weather improves, sessions will move outdoors.

We are extremely fortunate to have Logan Walsh leading the programme. Logan is a highly qualified coach, a well respected first team player and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in children’s rugby development.

Ystradgynlais RFC is proud to offer FREE rugby and this includes Tiger Blues. Rugby is a game for everyone and as a community driven club, we remain fully committed to keeping our programmes accessible and inclusive.

Congratulations Iestyn

A special highlight from the Second Team game was the senior debut of Iestyn Lougher. What a way to celebrate his 18th birthday! 🎉

Iestyn has made history as the first player to progress all the way from Tiger Blues to Senior Rugby, a fantastic testament to the strength of our player development pathway.

There’s still one final step ahead, breaking into the First Team, but based on his performances and potential, that opportunity won’t be far away.

Congratulations, Iestyn, an outstanding achievement! 👏 a Penblwydd hapus! 🎈

Amazing turn out after the Christmas break

As a club we invite all to join us in supporting Ystradgynlais Foodbank at Ystradgynlais Volunteer Centre in conjunction with Community Dreams Ystradgynlais in our Christmas Toy Appeal.
From our youngest Tiger Blues,through our mini's, juniors, senior and Atheltic team to our Ystradgynlais Wild Stallions all will be donating to help children who may be less fortunate than us this Christmas.
If you would like to join in please purchase a toy/gift (must be new and unopened) pop into a gift bag unsealed and write who it's suitable for on the tab, e.g BOY AGED 5.
From December 1st pop them into the hall in the club and place under our Christmas tree. The haul will be collected on Dec 10th and presented by our Mini players along with Santa himself.
Let's spread a bit of blue cheer this Christmas 🔵🎅🔵
