Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, baked cakes and helped on the day, a truly amazing effort. Thanks also to Big Bear Bikes for matching the amount we raised on the day👏👏👏

A huge thanks go to all from Ryedale Velo Club who planned, catered and took part in the Moors Challenge on 15th June. Over 40 riders from Ryedale Velo and beyond completed routes between 43 and 170 miles in length across the North Yorkshire Moors and helped raised an amazing £575 which was then generously matched by Big Bear Bikes, taking the grand total to £1150.

Route 4 of RVC’s charity bike rides this Sunday in aid of Ryedale Special Families is the shorter of the 2 long figure of 8 rides. It’s basically route 1 followed by route 2. So you get the beauty of Glaisdale, Fryupdale and Blakey ridge followed by Snilesworth, Kildale and Westerdale. It’ll probably be the toughest 100 miles you’ll cycle on the moors without going up any of the area’s brutal climbs
It starts at 9am on Sunday 15/6 from Fadmoor village hall and for a £10 donation you get 2 complimentary refreshment stops in addition to 2 cafe stops en route. Please sign up by emailing [email protected]
