York’s Chocolate Story, an absolute gem in the city! But it goes further than just the incredible tours and tastings. Downstairs is a cafe, with some of the best hot chocolate we have ever tasted and the perfect handmade treats.

Their chocolate is available to buy and is made in house. If you only have a few minutes to get yourself a sweet treat and a chocolate fix in York, this is the perfect central stop.

Hot or iced chocolates are fully customisable (I got the 70% dark chocolate with cream and marshmallows) making it the perfect treat to walk around town with.

A cosy pub in Fulford, a 15 minute walk from Campus West or 30 minutes from the city centre. This is a must visit!

With a fantastic quiz every Tuesday and a gorgeous beer garden, perfect for those hot summer days!

The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and very much a local pub with a number of regulars who welcome all with open arms!

With options of blondes, brownies, school cake, brookies and millionaire shortbreads as a base and topping and flavours of your choice!

We went for;
🍫🍪Crunchie Blondies
Gooey blondies with crunchy honeycomb on top, with white chocolate pieces inside. They went down an absolute treat.

🍯🍫Caramel Millionaire Shortbread
Oozy caramel, the perfect layer of tempered chocolate and crumbly shortbread base. Heaven!
