And that's a wrap for 2026!!

Day 3 saw our all girls tournament take place with the thermometer reading 20 degrees before any games even kicked off 🥵🥵

It was fantastic to see so many girls teams playing at Alvington with the standard of football throughout the day a real testament to everyone involved.

Sunday was an incredibly hot one for all the teams but we still witnessed some amazing football across all categories and the standard across the finals was a testament to the teams contesting after a roasting hot day ☀️☀️☀️

Our U7 & U8 sections both competed in non competitive competitions over day 1 and 2 and it was fantastic to see so many youngsters enjoying their football.

Our Tournament doesn't happen without help from our amazing sponsors.

Hi everyone,

With the tournament fast approaching, we want to take a moment to remind all participants, coaches and supporters about the importance of staying safe in the current weather. The forecast is showing unusually high temperatures for the weekend, and the health, safety and welfare of every competitor remains our top priority.

To help everyone stay protected and performing at their best, please make sure you:

🔵 Bring plenty of fluids and drink regularly throughout the day
🔵 Apply sunscreen before arrival and reapply as needed
🔵 Wear hats or other sun protection when not playing
🔵 Make use of any shaded areas available
🔵 Take breaks out of direct sunlight between matches

Please also be aware that the venue has limited natural shade, so we strongly encourage teams to bring gazebos or portable shelters where possible. There will, however, be plenty of vendors on site providing cold drinks and refreshments throughout the day.

We want this to be an enjoyable and successful tournament for all involved and taking these simple precautions will help ensure everyone stays safe in the heat.

Thank you for your cooperation and support. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend.
