Get ready to relive history and experience the power of vintage machinery at the Abbey Hill Steam Rally. Held at the picturesque Yeovil Showground, surrounded by the rolling hills of Dorset, this annual event takes place over the May Day bank holiday weekend, from Friday, 28th April to Monday, 1st May. It offers a unique opportunity to admire a long line of beautifully restored steam engines and e

xplore rows of vintage tractors and vehicles dating back to the early 20th century. The sound of the steam whistles and the sight of these majestic machines in motion will transport you back in time. In addition to the main attraction, visitors can also enjoy a variety of other activities such as live music, delicious food stalls and a fun-filled fairground. With over 100 trade stands selling a variety of goods from household items and plants to toys and jewellery, there's something for everyone. The entertainment programme includes ring events, live bands and singers in the Beer Tent, and in the evening the fun continues with more entertainment in the marquee and the fairground stays open late. The gates open at 8:00 am and with ample parking and facilities, it's a perfect family day out. Don't miss your chance to witness history in motion and make memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing exhibitors, caterers, and trade stand holders who helped make this year’s rally such a fantastic success. From the stunning displays and unique stalls to the delicious food and warm, welcoming atmosphere – every one of you played a part in creating something truly special.

Our trade area was buzzing, the food was incredible, and the passion and dedication shown across the whole event did not go unnoticed. We’re so grateful for your continued support and for helping us deliver such a memorable experience for everyone who attended.
