After his memorable, spellbinding gig earlier this year with his band The Sinners, we’re delighted to welcome back Scottish troubadour Dean Owens for a rare intimate solo show in the Hall's Tarran Room.

With a searingly soulful voice and a hatful of new stories, Dean brings songs of family, displacement and the wanderers of the world to the cosy setting of our Tarran Room. His stories about the songs, the road and the people behind the music are almost as entertaining as the songs themselves.

Tickets are going fast and several of his UK Solo Tour venues are fully booked...so don't miss out - once seen, never forgotten.

Something very special from Joshua Burnell 😍

I’m so proud of this one. I’ve long been in love with the music of the early 70s and have always wanted to try and make something that sounds as if it is from that world. It has taken heaps of research, years of learning, lots of trial and error, and loads of fun. It was epic having in the studio for a duelling electric guitar / Hammond solo and added a killer bass line.

The vinyl really is something special and to hold it in my hands is just magic. Some lucky people will get to own it too - it’s on my website and I hope you get one before they’re all gone x

But also no pressure either, there are some absolute BEASTS ln this longlist (inc Radiohead hahahah how am I meant to compete with them) so really it is a huge honour in itself to be included among them wow🖤 performing live is my fave part of being a musician and I’ve been working my arse off touring as much as I possibly can for the last few years and putting everything into it, so this was such a nice surprise to receive today. thank you Association of Independent Music for the “best live performer” nomination x
