3 clocks, A 12x12 inch wooden canvas and a 12 inch heart shaped wall art.

Apologies for the radio silence. Georgia has been suffering from a nasty stomach bug for the last couple of weeks and has been unable to do any resin work.

Now on the mend, we are looking forward to attending the Great Little Farmers market Carnival event on Worthing Promenade on Bank holiday Monday. Hope to see you there.

What have I been making today?

•The start of 3 neach themed clocks.

•A 12 x 12inch beach themed wooden canvas with real sand, real seashells, abalone shell fragments and dried starfish.

•A Beach Themed Wall Art Heart with real sand, seashells, abalone shell fragments.

I have to say, the waves on these came out so well today.

Matching memorial bag clips/ keyrings for the family who ordered the pet memorial pyramid. These contain their fur baby's ashes, so each member of the family can keep Brandy close to them.

We had a special request last month to make a resin pet memorial pyramid for a customer who had lost their precious fur baby.

Although we had not made one before, we took on the challenge after a lot of research.

Working upside down and almost blind has been a bit nerve wrecking as we didnt know how it would turn out until we demoulded the project.

Because of the heatwave, it has been necessary to use deep pour resin in very thin layers to prevent a flash cure from happening (it's an uncontrollable and sometimes dangerous exothermic reaction that can cause fire and ruin a project). We could not afford to let this happen with one of a kind precious keepsakes.
..So after a total of 12 layers over nearly 3 weeks, we can reveal the (almost complete) project.

All that's left to do is sand the outer edges, apply personalised name decals and topcoat with a super shiny, scratch resistant tabletop resin. For now, here is a making and demoulding video.
