today, we share some difficult news.

A friend of our team, Maisie (aged just 14) has been diagnosed with Cancer (Ewing Sarcoma).

Over the next 14 months, Maisie will face an incredibly tough treatment journey, and we want to make sure she and her family feel nothing but love, strength, and support around them.

We've just donated via this sponsored walk and so should you. Every message, every share, and every donation truly makes a difference. Together, we can help ease the pressure and show Maisie she is never alone 🤍

Energy Coast LIVE 2025 wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of the BEC Kickstart Fund, powered by Sellafield Ltd’s SiX Programme, and delivered by BEC, and we owe a massive thank you to Emma Williamson for believing in our vision from day one.

This event was entirely student-led, and the Kickstart funding gave us the chance to turn a big idea into something unforgettable. From stages and sound to marketing and games, they backed it all and made it real.

Emma, thank you for your guidance, patience and enthusiasm throughout the journey. We couldn’t have done this without you.

WOW. What a day yesterday was.

Energy Coast LIVE was everything we dreamed of… and more. We laughed, we danced, we ate, and we did it together.

This entire event was completely student-led, built from scratch by our team of young people from Energy Coast UTC, and you all turned up and made it something special.
