Set in a stunning 19th-century lodge and 52 acres of woodland, Wiston Lodge is a charity and social enterprise running outdoor learning, residentials, and community programmes — and a unique venue to hire for weddings, parties, and special occasions. We can design and supply programmes tailored to suit your group's needs, or provide the venue for your own programmes. We welcome residential and day

visits, during the week and at weekends. Our staff work hard to provide everyone with a friendly welcome and a safe, comfortable stay. We take great pride in providing homemade food that delights all our guests. We cater for all dietary requirements, from Halal to coelics.

Recently, we welcomed the young players from Glenbuck and Douglas Valley Football Academy to Wiston Lodge for a brilliant day of outdoor adventure.

From raft building and canoeing to crate climbing, team challenges, and plenty of laughs along the way, it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, building confidence, and making memories outdoors 🙌

A huge thank you to the academy for spending the day with us, and to the CDG Community Fund, administered by Foundation Scotland, for helping make experiences like this possible 💚

Sometimes wellbeing looks less like a to-do list and more like a walk through the trees 🌿✨

This Green Health Week (May 18th - 24th), we celebrated the simple ways that nature can support our wellbeing — from slowing down and getting fresh air to reconnecting with the outdoors.

The grounds, gardens, woodland and orchard at Wiston Lodge are bursting with life right now, with quiet woodland paths, blossom-covered trees and fresh greenery around every corner 🍃

Confidence, connection, and a lot of teamwork 💪✨

Yesterday the team stepped away from the desks and into some energising team building activities led by our very own Programme Manager, Vicky.

From problem solving to plenty of laughs along the way, it was a great chance to build confidence, strengthen communication, and support one another as a team.

What a fantastic day at Ceilidh to the Cairn!

We were so proud to be part of such a special community event alongside so many incredible people, organisations, volunteers and supporters. From the music and dancing to the walk itself, the whole day was filled with kindness, laughter and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, helped behind the scenes, donated, danced, played music, volunteered and supported the event in any way — it was wonderful to see so many people come together for such a meaningful cause.

Events like this are a reminder of the power of community, connection, and shared experiences, and we’re grateful that Wiston Lodge could play a part in it all.

🎶 Ceilidh to the Cairn is happening this Saturday, May 16th! 🎶

Join us from 9:30am at the Tinto Tea Room for a community walk up Tinto Hill filled with music, laughter and plenty of ceilidh spirit — all while raising funds for Wiston Lodge and CCI at Langloch Farm.

Along the route, enjoy special dance stops with local musicians playing traditional Scottish music to keep the energy going all the way to the top. 💃🏴

Whether you walk with friends and family, raise sponsorship or simply donate, every bit of support helps make a difference.
