Evolving from a small gathering of like-minded friends into a vast pop-up metropolis celebrating a dizzying kaleidoscope of musical and artistic endeavour. Boomtown is one of the worlds most innovative festivals, offering its audience an immersive, theatrically-led experience like no other with hundreds of actors bringing the film-like street sets to life. From mindblowing main stages to enchanting street venues, Boomtown's fully themed districts vibrate night and day to a soundtrack exploring everything from ska, folk, gypsy, reggae, world, punk, pirate and disco, via electro-swing, jazz, bluegrass, bass, jungle and techno.

Chapter Six: Wild Style is officially open for band applications. We want innovative, diverse, talented live musicians from every genre. Live performers only - we'll have another opportunity for DJs soon.

Boomtown is built on diversity. We actively welcome applications from artists of all backgrounds and encourage submissions from those in marginalised and underrepresented communities. If you need any support or reasonable adjustments to complete the application process, contact [email protected] 💜

Its not to late to Visit Boomtown 2027 🏖️

Wednesday Entry Phases 1, 2 and 3 are gone - Phase 4 is the last one standing. Thursday Entry Phase 1 is gone. Wednesday Public Transport Phase 1 is gone. And instalment prices increase on September 1st. The city is selling out, chapter by chapter.

If you’ve been putting it off, this is the nudge.

The connection. The hope. The creativity. The joy. The sheer force of what happens when thousands of people build something together.

But that feeling doesn't have to stay in the fields. We created it together - which means we can create more of it, wherever we are.

This year we partnered with Take the Jump . You might have spotted them at the Lions Den when Crystal crowd-surfed in a dinghy, at their Hilltop carts, or in their Thrutopia tent. Did you get involved Citizens?

Take the Jump is made up of thousands of people and communities trying six simple science-based shifts to protect nature, end division, strengthen community, and live with JOY.

No doom. No shame. Just action and hope.
