Another great Spring afternoon at The St James Tavern Blues Jam last Sunday 10th May 2026 at St. James Tavern, Wi******er, which raised £368.26 for NO LIMITS charity. Thanks to all the great musicians who came and played, along with the fabulous support from the audience and all the donations. Hi Everyone,

What a great afternoon The Spring Sessions Blues Jam turned out to be.

Despite a very quiet start, the afternoon really came together and ended up being another successful event with a fantastic atmosphere, great music and strong support all round.

We’re delighted to say that together we raised an amazing £368.26 in support of No Limits, a brilliant charity doing important work supporting young people.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — all the musicians who gave their time and talent, everyone who came along and donated, St James Tavern for hosting us, and of course Lesley and the team from No Limits.

Lesley kindly sent us this message afterwards:

“It was lovely to meet you both yesterday and we really enjoyed the event – thank you for choosing No Limits. I’ve counted up the donations and we made £368.26 in total, which is absolutely great! Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved.”

The Blues Jams continue to be about good people, live music and supporting worthwhile causes together, and once again everyone involved helped make that happen.

Thank you all very much and we hope to see you again at the next one.

The next Blue Jam of course - No Limits is a local charity providing advice and counselling to young people across Hampshire.

No Limits provide life-changing support to young people, including for those struggling with their mental health, housing, debt management, caring responsibilities and relationships.

The St James Tavern Blues Jam house band THE WILD SWANS BAND will be playing on SATURDAY EVENING 28th FEBRUARY at THE BIG BIG CHARITY GIG for the Dreamflight charity, including lots of prizes and other great acts performing, starting from 4.30pm till late and we will be on stage at 8.30pm at STEAMTOWN BREWERY, 1 Bishopstoke Rd, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO50 6AD. Hope to see you there, supporting a great charity, for a fantastic rocking, musical evening. FREE ENTRY.

Dear all,

Happy New Year to you all.

Just wanted to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every musician, attendee, supporter and friend who came along to the SJT Xmas Blues Jam and helped make it such a special afternoon.

Thanks to your generosity and support, we/you raised an incredible £572.20 for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance — £412.20 in cash and £160 via the card reader. To put that into real terms, this donation could fund a flight suit, helping to keep one of their crew members safe while they respond to patients in their moment of greatest need.

That is a powerful reminder of why these events matter. What starts as people coming together to enjoy great music and good company genuinely turns into something that saves lives.

Blues Jam has always been about community — musicians supporting musicians, people supporting people — and this is a perfect example of that spirit in action. It couldn’t be done without you giving your time, talent, energy and donations.

Thank you for making it such a brilliant afternoon, and for helping us support such an essential charity.

The SJT have kindly offered a meal for two. This Christmas event is in support of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, its a couple of days before Christmas so lots of festive "feels" going on...its gonna be lone....a good one, see you there
