The English Civil War Society would like to thank Wimborne Minster Town Council. Dorset County Council, Wimborne BID, William Hanham & Deans Court Estate, Merley Farms, Helen Edbrooke, Wimborne Minster, Wimborne Radio, Waitrose, Museum of East Dorset and all their Staff and Volunteers, Malcom Angel, Tracey Beardsley, Sue Cooke Daryl Lake, special thanks to Tammy Sleet and especially to all you, the people of Wimborne, for inviting us to the town. Yet we must also warn you that the forces of Parliament will be marching through Dorset yet again this time to besiege Corfe Castle at the weekend, 6th & 7th September. Inside will be the loyal forces of His Majestie led by the heroic Lady Banks herself, she will welcome veterans of "The Battle for Wimborne" to visit and once more decide "Which side are you on?" People of Wimborne - We salute you !
