Wilbarston Village Hall is now the proud owner of a 2nd competition-standard table tennis table, thanks to some Ward Member Empowerment Funds received from Councillors Howes and McElhinney.

Exciting news - thanks to some Ward Member Empowerment Funds received from Councillors Howes and McElhinney, Wilbarston Village Hall will be receiving a 2nd table tennis table.

If anyone has any padding that we can use to protect this 2nd table (for example, thermal pipe insulation), please get in touch.

If you're interested in joining the Table Table Group or would like to play on your own, please let me know.

The Village Quiz will be held on Saturday 25th April in the Lounge at Wilbarston Village Hall. Bar open from 7pm with the Quiz starting at 7.30pm. Entry = £2 per person. Prizes for 1st & 2nd Place.

Wilbarston Tots are looking for a new volunteer (or small group of volunteers) to run the group. Alice took over the running of the group in September, during her maternity leave. However, the time has come for her to return to work, and she will no longer be able to run the sessions on Mondays. She is hoping to keep the group running for a few more weeks, with a little help, before she can hopefully pass the reins over to a new volunteer.

If you are interested in helping or know someone who might be, please get in touch.

The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Wilbarston Village Hall Management Committee will be held on Thursday 5th March 2026 at 7pm in the Village Hall Lounge.

We will be reviewing the activities and audited Accounts for the year to 31st August 2025 and give an update on activities since then. There are some fundamental changes in the status of the Village Hall Charity, the ownership of the Hall and the responsibilities of the Trustees. The AGM is your opportunity to ask questions about these changes and give your feedback on this and also on how you feel the Hall is managed.

You will, of course, then be able to vote on the election or re-election of Trustees for the coming year.
