Another successful Health & Wellbeing Forum 🙌

We were excited to welcome Sarah Cameron from Every Life Matters to our Health & Wellbeing Forum at Westlakes Science Park.

Every Life Matters is dedicated to creating su***de-safer communities- providing vital training, resources, and support for those impacted by su***de.

Sarah delivered a powerful and moving session, highlighting the reality of su***de and the importance of reaching out - whether you are struggling yourself, supporting someone, or coping with loss.

Remember, if you’re struggling, supporting someone, or grieving - you are not alone. 💛

Our resident swans are a much-loved part of life here on the Park, often joined by ducks and other feathered friends who help make the park such a special place.

Have you heard of the STEAM Trail?🌲

It’s a free, interactive experience designed to bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) learning to life- and you can book your space now!

Created with support from Sellafield Ltd and academic partners, the trail blends outdoor exploration with digital technology in a way that’s fun, engaging and easy to access.

Ideal for Key Stage 2 and 3 students, the trail teaches pupils on areas like solar energy, photography and much more- plus a dedicated app to keep the learning hands on! 🙌

Whether you’re a school, family or simply curious, it’s a great way to inspire young people and spark interest in future careers.

Our Grounds Maintenance team are out making sure The Park looks its best- maintaining green spaces while supporting the natural habitats that make the Park such a vibrant place to work and visit.

First Health & Wellbeing Forum of 2026 ✅

We were delighted to welcome Jade Clifford from ADHD & Me, who shared her personal experience of living with ADHD.

Her talk provided valuable insights into how we can better support individuals with ADHD- both in our personal lives and in the workplace.

Our Health & Wellbeing Forum is open to everyone at Westlakes Science Park. It offers a safe, supportive space to connect, learn, and share ideas to enhance wellbeing across our community.

Traffic Update on the A595 🚦

We’ve been made aware that the traffic lights at the entrance of Westlakes Science Park remain out of operation.

We appreciate that this, combined with the ongoing tree-cutting works further along the A595, is causing delays and frustration.

Whilst the lights are not sat on our site, we will continue to push for a swift resolution with the relevant authorities. The issue has been reported to National Highways and is currently believed to be linked to a power supply fault.

In the meantime, please drive safely when entering or leaving the Park.
