Whitby enjoyed a great number of top class performances from Shanty Groups from all round the UK. In addition we enjoyed a number of excellent solo and duo performances . Here are STEVE & JULIE WIGLEY from Derby, and local favourite BETH BURROWS singing to support our cause to maintain a maritime festival here in Whitby. We will return. Heres the fantastic Hornsea Shanty Lasses - not your conventional shanty group as you can see. Joy to listen and watch these lasses...below the Tradition Bearer STEVE TURNER at our BIG NIGHT concert, gave us a masterful performance on his recent album-launch tour.

THE BRIDGE SHANTY CREW at The Captain Cook Memorial Museum during this years maritime festival last weekend, while (below) NOBODYS FRIENDS SHANTY SINGERS give it their best in Pannett Art Gallery. We are grateful for all the great feedback and are already making plans for next years event.
