You will be able to tour the Shannon‑class all‑weather lifeboat during the Fish and Ships Festival weekend on Saturday, 16 May, between 10am and 4pm, with the last tour starting at 3.30pm.

The lifeboat will be located on the Trident Pontoon, near the Marina Front Car Park.

Due to the size of the boat, tours are limited to 12 people every half an hour. Tours will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis, with slots allocated on the day at the top of the gangway.

Unfortunately, the boat tour is not accessible.

The lifeboat station on the Fish Pier will also be open on Saturday and Sunday, if anyone would like to look around, between 10am and 4pm on both days.
