There’s still time to get your entry in for The Hartley Hare Sundowner 10K (ish) — and trust us, this is not your ordinary 10K!

Set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside around Wheaton Aston, this is a proper cross-country trail adventure raising funds for charity. Expect fields, tracks, countryside, a few twists and turns, plenty of mud potential… and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish! 🌳🥾

And then there’s the Sundowner part…

We’re starting at 4pm, giving you the perfect opportunity to get out, get active and enjoy a run as the day starts to wind down. And when you cross that finish line, the fun doesn’t stop! 🍻🌅

The Church Eaton Chase 10k hoodies have landed and it suddenly feels very real.

Church Eaton Cricket Club are serving breakfast baps in the morning and there will be Hot pork baps, cobs and pizza available at The Royal Oak after the runs

The booking link for the Hartley Hare Sundowner 2026 is LIVE!! Sign up today and secure your place in this iconic, largely off-road, late afternoon, trail run which returns for a third year! The route takes runners across paths, tracks, fields and along the canal tow path covering varied terrain, with fantastic scenery along the way. Challenging? Yes. Fun? Without question! The race, which will be raising money for local charities (more details of which will be shared soon), both starts and finishes at the The Hartley Arms pub in Wheaton Aston where you will be met by one of the best cheering squads ever.
