Anna Collier & Billy Bates will be taking on the HUGE challenge of walking 30 miles from Blackpool Tower to Whalley Golf Club on Sunday 4th October, all to raise money for Whalley Golf Club & Prostate Cancer UK. 💚💙

It’s going to be a LONG day, a LOT of steps and some very tired legs! 🥾

Foxes & Rabbits is where a golfer plays with a non-golfer.
The fox (golfer) plays down to the green, and once the ball is on the green, the rabbit (non-golfer) puts it in the hole.

Join us for a fun-filled 9-hole scramble where every hole brings a new challenge. Each team will receive 9 mystery envelopes, opening one on every hole to reveal how you must play that hole. From using only a 9 iron to putting with your driver, every envelope keeps you guessing!

Congratulations to Agnes Flanagan, who won the Past Captain & Past President Competition on 28th June! 👏

Not only did Agnes claim the title, but she also became the first lady to win this competition – a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the club. Well done Agnes!

⛳ What a day last Sunday was for our Lady Captain JTV!

JTV completed the L.C. Challenge, taking on eight courses in a single day, starting at 5.30am and finishing with a memorable final round right here at Whalley. 🏌️‍♀️

The day kicked off with Mo and Chris by her side as the sun rose over Ghyll and Colne. Agnes and Jen guided her through Rishton and Baxenden, where a wonderfully generous surprise lunch from the Baxenden L.C. set the tone beautifully. Carrie and Sarah joined for the sunny stretch, navigating Green Haworth before Stoneyhurst's L.C. came to the rescue with a reviving afternoon tea. Finally, Jean and Jan accompanied JTV through Great Harwood and brought her home to Whalley for that unforgettable final hole.

The hospitality and warmth shown by every club along the way was truly overwhelming, and the welcome back at Whalley was something very special indeed.

When asked if she'd do it again, JTV was emphatic: NO. Some days are simply too perfect to repeat. 💚

Our warmest congratulations to JTV, and our heartfelt thanks to her eight brilliant caddies and every club that made the day so extraordinary.
