The waterfront will come alive as some of the UK’s fastest race boats and world-class skiers battle it out across the open water at breathtaking speeds — pushing both man and machine to the absolute limit.

We are pleased to announce that the Hanseatic Festival of Watersports will now host Rounds 5 and 6 of the championship, making it an official points-scoring event.

The UKWR Committee would like to thank the Hanseatic Committee for allowing this to happen, and we look forward to an exciting event on the water.

Another full day of flat-out racing, huge spray, tight battles and unbelievable skill from every class out on the water. These highlights are just a glimpse of the action we captured … and trust me, there’s plenty more to come. 🎥🚤

The atmosphere, the speed and the conditions made for an unforgettable day on the coast. Massive respect to all the racers pushing the limits out there. 👏

🏁 RESULTS ARE IN! 🏁

What an incredible weekend of racing at West Bay for the opening rounds of the 2026 UK Waterski Racing Championship! 🌊🔥

Huge congratulations to all competitors who battled the rough conditions, big water, and intense competition across every category. From the rising stars in U12 & U15 right through to the seasoned racers — the talent on display was absolutely unreal.

A massive thank you to the organisers, race officials, crews, families and supporters who make these events possible 👏

This is only the beginning… the 2026 season is officially underway and it’s already delivering some spectacular racing 🚤💨
