This was us playing at Conway Hall Sunday Concerts - and we’ll be back this Sunday with some gorgeous Fauré, Saint Saëns, Mozart and more of those Burns Variations!
Would be great if any London friends might come along - we’ll see you in the Shakespeare’s Head afterwards!

Formed in 2004 and named after the great violist William Primrose, the group’s acclaimed discography includes works by Fauré, Brahms, Elgar, Strauss and Schubert as well as British masterpieces of the 19th and 20th centuries and major commissions from Sir Peter Maxwell Davies amongst others.

What a treat to play chamber music in the sort of environment it was intended for! Thoroughly enjoyed our fundraising concert for this year’s West Meon Music Festival and - even more excitingly - the programme will be ready to be posted on our website any day. Watch this space!

What a dashing photo of young Dmitri - at this time he would have been busy playing cinema piano and once laughing so hard at a Hollywood comedy he forgot to play. And got sacked…
