Last week Daniela Johnsen-Hunter and Klaus visited with friends from Hamburg & Frankfurt, and the sun shone for them. Look at that blue sky. The West Coast of Scotland is known for high rainfall, but when the sun sun shines, it is even more beautiful 😎

They were fortunate to have the opportunity to have their photo take with Madam Pauline and Graham Macer Venatorus.

This week we had 3 Hunter siblings visit from Cumbria. Their uncle and aunt will be joining us at the gathering from 24 - 26 July. 😊

If you are looking for holiday accommodation while visiting Hunterston Castle, a new apartment has become available to book in West Kilbride. Very close to the Main Street and West Kilbride Station. At present there is availability for the gathering weekend, from 24 to 26 July, so if you are still looking for options you may want to consider this.

Hunter & Vicki from Virginia and Will and Katy from Edinburgh visited Hunterston Castle today.
It was a great day for a walk around the garden and Madam Pauline came to say hello.

If you are visiting Hunterston Castle and are looking for a local lunch and coffee option, Cafe Willow in Ritchie Street, West Kilbride is highly recommended.
It has a fresh, welcoming and cosy vibe and can be found next to Morrows the Clock Shop.
It offers Matcha as well as tea and coffee. You may also find some furry residents inside too, as it is dog friendly.

Nicola and Ceriss visited today. Local lassies who became good friends at school and have kept in touch over the years and across the miles, as Ceriss now lives in Sydney. (Hopefully we have spelt your beautiful name correctly)

The Rhododendrons are also out on the estate, adding splashes of colour amongst the green.
